Here are some reasons for the downvotes:
This is the reason for a large portion of the downvotes. Conservatism absolutely can be defined. Conservatism is the belief and the desire that we hold to the Constitution as it was written and using the language concurrent with the time to determine intent. The problem is that people conflate "conservatism" and "right wing."
This portion is like a dead twig attached to a tree. It serves no purpose. It has neither leaf nor fruit. It's simply a dead adornment that you've included with a derisive snort.
You're going to call people who prayed that Trump may win, and believe that their prayers were answered "zealots"? You do realize that such language is a tad bit inflammatory, don't you? It's as though you scoff at anyone who holds to their faith and to their relgious tenets.
And now you insinuate that there's a class of folks whose main source of worth and value is their financial portfolio.
You left out the people who are struggling to make their groceries, fill up their cars, purchase clothing, maintain their houses and stay ahead financially. You left out the people who don't want their children forcefully indoctrinated by perverts in public schools. You left out the people who are tired of US involvement in endless new "wars" throughout the middle east and now spreading into central Europe. You left out the people who are tired of the lies presented by Washington's aristocracy.
You left out a lot of people while naming four subjective and poorly defined groups in an effort to divide and control the whole.
Your question comes off as leftist preaching rather an honest question and reeks of duplicity. And, quite frankly, most of us who downvoted aren't so sure you aren't disingenuous with your statement and assertions. In all honesty, there is nothing in your post that makes us believe that you are part of the "we."

There are only two parties in America. They will both always be divided.
Posted on 12/10/24 at 7:10 am to 10thyrsr
It is no more divided than it was before the election.
The only thing is that Trump winning has highlighted the divisions.

Its no longer Dem vs Republican.
Its collective vs individual. Democrats and MAGA are trying to save society, it cannot be saved and will lessen your individual worth.

There should only be one faction, the liberty-first right.
Corporatist right can get fricked if they aren’t liberty-first. No more setting up massive regulatory barriers to entry. Economic libertarianism within the states, while assuring that all national security-related industries are not produced exclusively abroad. China can make our Walmart consumer garbage but we have to have high-grade domestic options for chips, steel, electrical/grid components etc. And industries need to be freed up/deregulated to allow them make those items domestically.
Religious right needs to just support the government that allows them the freedom to practice. Choose their battles wisely and make them generally applicable and mostly focused on advocating for children(including the unborn) and those who cannot fend for themselves. Meaning that they advocate for things like teaching topics at the appropriate developmental time in a child’s life (no more teaching that there are 238 genders to 3rd graders). Avoid topics that are anti-freedom and specific to your religion, like displaying the ten commandments in schools. And once people turn 18 they stand on the morals and values they learned. They have the freedom to mess up their lives without government intervention.

There are different motives and issues that drive voters, but the one consistent for all voters is that they are not happy with the direction we’ve been headed in. Why would anyone vote for more of the same? Trump whether you loved him or not was the only choice against continued destruction.

We don't "come together". There is NO compromise after the last eight years. You get on the train or the train runs you over. Just ask Joni.
