Russia just attacked Lviv, very far west of Ukraine. Another fog of war moment.

Neither side is winning right now. The war is practically a stalemate on all fronts. However, the deck still remains stacked against Ukraine as Russia has advantages in manpower and resources.

Russia has destroyed pretty much their entire military infrastructure. That’s not some stalemate. They are crushing the body count too

If this were the case, Russia would be advancing roughshod through Ukraine right now. Instead...they are digging in north and east of Kiev, still struggling to take Mariupol despite it being completely surrounded, and can't advance further than the outskirts of Kharkov.

The Russians don’t want to destroy cities. They are trying to avoid civilian loss. They could level every city if they want to, but they won’t. The only reason anything is stalled is because the Ukrainian soldiers are hiding in cities behind civilians. This isn’t that hard.

90% of the city of Mariupol has been destroyed so that's not entirely accurate.

That's probably because the population of Mariupol has been cut off from evacuation and the battle has become street-by-street/house-by-house in the city.
