I’m dismayed by this whole thing. McCloskey has to have worked with her and have some connections.

There is a Visio flow chart somewhere on the Left’s hierarchy when it comes to social courtesy. An old white dude is probably the bottom of the barrel for olive branch extensions.

Murray Carpenter, Tristan Spinski, and Jim Windolf were the ones he named. Carpenter is the reporter doing the story. Spinski is the photographer taking photos of his house. Windolf is the editor overseeing the story.
These three need to BEGIN paying the price as a down payment on the MASSIVE debt that the NYTimes must now begin to pay.

Did you notice the part where I said putting his address would be over the line?

He’s a celebrity. People know, and many media sources often publish, the neighborhoods or general areas of town where celebrities live. It wouldn’t be over the line for a newspaper to mention an actor lives in the Tribeca section of New York, or mention a talk show host lives in the Georgetown section of DC. That’s not doxxing.

Unequivocally, if the paper puts his address, his kids, i.e. nonpublic info etc. that’s way over the line.

You can find a lot of celebrities in Georgetown DC with a quick google search. They omit addresses of current residences. LINK

I’ll admit, this is not the kind of “journalism” that I care would choose to indulge in, and pictures of the house probably cross the line without consent. But naming the neighborhood is normal; you and I may not like it, but it is normal.

Who took the pictures in this article (from 3 years ago) LINK

Reporting on celebrity home purchases is a normal thing. It’s a thing I don’t really care about or consider the pinnacle of investigatory journalism, but it is a thing.

Yeah totally normal, nothing to see here.

You are intentionally obtuse. Stop.

You’re such a dishonest cocksucker. Murray Carpenter isn’t from the Lifestyle section of the paper.

But the information contained therein may be no different.

If the main intent of the article is to provide information on how to locate Tucker, that’s bad. If it’s a general profile of a person in headlines, and it mentions his neighborhood, that’s normal.

I haven’t seen the article in question, and neither have you. I will fully be prepared to denounce it if the obvious purpose is doxxing; I’m just willing to reserve judgment, until we actually know more details about the proposed story, at least more than one side.

Tucker should hire some people from Colombia to fly in, take care of business, then back home.
