Hey Dems...payback's a bitch. Think how many years the Dems have had a bunch of extra representatives for doing the same thing.

I thought it was funny when Dem states started saber rattling after Texas.

I'm like, um............have you stupid fricks done ANY of the following

1. Counted how many red states there are vs blue?
2. Taken note that you've ALREADY kinda maximized your gerrymandering in your blue states? Especially given how highly concentrated your blue already is?
3. Taken into account 1&2 to realize that if you want gerrymandering war, you're gonna get creamed.

Gavin’s already done it, as has Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey ad infinitum…

Yes they did and want to squeeze more as a "answer" to Texas.

I really don't talk politics with too many people in public. However, I do look at polling and have common sense:

Then why’d you vote for Biden and Kamala? LOL, if you want to talk about out of touch politicians take a look at the insanity of the leftists. Most Americans want some deportation, Democrats want more illegal immigration. Trump is closer to the American public here.

Exactly. This is merely Conservative states finally playing by the same rules the Dims have played for decades.

Yep. Only difference is Democrats have long ago already squeezed out about as many districts as they could. Now it’s the Republicans turn. And there are far more red states than blue ones.

And, even more important when it comes to drawing districts is that even in blue states, like 70% of the land is red. To avoid Red seats, you have to fricking gerrymander the shite out of your cities and there's only so much you can do here.

In red states, you can easily build perfectly normal districts that are ALL 55/45 red.

People like the idea of getting the immigrants out but not as many like aggressive policing and what can appear to be quasi-occupations of cities. Sure, the GOP hardcore base loves it but that's like 25-35% of the electorate. Moderates get squeamish and liberals outright dislike it.

Update: This is a done deal & on its way to Governor Mike Kehoe’s desk as I type this, which might as well be a rubber stamp.

That’s exactly what this is, Mo. is entirely Red with the exception of 3 out of 114 counties, that’s including STL. proper which is somehow considered independent though it hasn’t had a Republican mayor in 80 years.

quote:

JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri senators passed legislation Friday that would redraw Missouri's congressional districts to favor Republicans and make it more difficult for Missouri citizens to amend the state constitution.

The bill to redistrict Missouri goes to Gov. Mike Kehoe's desk for approval, and the joint resolution to amend Missouri's initiative petition process will go before Missouri voters for approval. Kehoe called lawmakers back to the Capitol last month for a special session to pass the redistricting and initiative petition reform legislation.

Republicans in the state Senate called the previous question, or PQ, to end a filibuster by Democrats and pass the legislation. The legislative tactic is considered controversial and is rarely used, but Republican senators in Missouri have used it several times this year to stop Democrats from filibustering.

The new proposed congressional districts would carve up the Kansas City area, which is currently a single district held by Democrat Emanuel Cleaver, into multiple districts that extend east into more rural, conservative areas.

Emanuel Cleaver, think Clyburn but with a Rev. at the beginning of his name. As I stated previously in this thread, the Democrats had earmarked his seat specifically for lame duck KC mayor Quinton Lucas for perpetuity.
