Yes I found his name. In one of his articles he claimed to have talked to a former pilot and the guy didnt know how two basic avionics systems worked. He didnt say the guys name but after 26 years avionics on multiple fighter jets I knew the guy was full of shite. He may sound like he knows what he is talking about to someone with no experience but it was easy for me to tell he had no idea what he was talking about.

Even web-spaces like Small Wars Journal who once put guys like Petreaus on a pedestal have changed their tune regarding the guys who had limited, but very publicized, success in COIN.

There’s always threats, but if they are flying the B-52’s they should feel pretty confident they’ve cleared the threats in those areas; and still probably flanking with protective aircraft

If they want to hit targets in the east then they will go in and take out the AA and drones and then start hitting targets. Dude is suggesting they are purposely avoiding areas because they are concerned about air defenses and that is just false.

I heard it being declared this morning on the news. Is it 100%? Of course not. BUT hour by hour, day by day, it will get exponential harder for the remaining ragheads to provide any form of measurable resistance.

And there is a big difference between a GPS guided ALCM and a GPS guided JDAM.

26 years avionics and modifications on F35, F15C, F15E, F16, A10, B52, C130 gunships, blackhawk helicopters, Chinooks and a few aircraft im not allowed to discuss or put on a resume and you or the guy you are linking an article to?

I haven’t even started on why you look like a douche for supporting an article that wants to be “edgy” and pick fly shite outta pepper over the term “supremacy”.
The US and Israel are conducting one of the best displays of military aerial might in history. It’s 6 days old and you want to piss on it because we haven’t neutralized a couple sand holes in the east.
I’m sure just as soon as Trump or one of the news networks needs some more advice they’ll have Murph on the speed dial……
