Barr committed perjury? When was he testifying in court?

Because he didn't release it for a whole month while people on here and on Fox news were doing a premature touchdown dance..... That's why.

Barr cherry picked and down played the enormous evidence of Trump obstructing, and did not state (as Mueller did in the report) that the OLC position of the DOJ is why he did not indict.
This 100% false. It’s a bold faced lie. You either didn’t read the report and are getting false talking points from some outlet or you’re illiterate.

Take a moment and listen to yourself. What in the hell is the benefit of that? What gain was planned to be made in this month of premature touchdown dances? Did they move the Presidential election up and I just missed it?
Which makes it that much more idiotic. Why do this, why does trump tell the lies he does when most of the time, the truth would suffice?

Mueller's beef was with the media's dishonest response and representation of Barr's bottom line letter. So they do the exact same thing here
Because FAKE frickING NEWS.

You're afflicted.

He was under oath when he told this blatant lie:
quote:
Flashback: April 9.
CRIST: Reports have emerged recently, general, that members of the Special Counsel's team are frustrated at some level with the limited information included in your March 24th letter ... Do you know what they are referencing with that?
BARR: No, I don't.
There is no ambiguity here. He knowingly lied to congressman Crist here.

Correct. As I pointed out last night, the WAPO article is quite literally fake news about someone criticizing fake news.

When did Barr commit perjury? Be specific.

Mueller examined this exact thing in his report and decided that it was a close call, but that since the question and response had enough ambiguity, he couldn't prosecute.

On April 9 in his appearance before a Congressional committee.
Here's the transcript:
quote:
CRIST: Reports have emerged recently, general, that members of the Special Counsel's team are frustrated at some level with the limited information included in your March 24th letter ... Do you know what they are referencing with that?
BARR: No, I don't.
The Mueller letter explaining why he disagreed with Barr's 4 page letter was submitted prior to that. He also discussed WITH MUELLER on the phone the issues brought up in the letter.

This is incorrect. Mueller's letter to Barr indicates that he was upset the Barr's letter was CAUSING the media to get the wrong impression of the Mueller report.
