Not a polling expert but its my understanding they decide to ask a certain number of Rs and a certain number of Ds. Polls wouldn’t necessarily catch the flips.
I’m looking at this logically more than anything and also using 2016 as a lens. I just can’t see how the dem platform has done anything but continued to drive more former dems away. The working class whites of the rest belt just got started switching in 2016. The floods gates are about to burst this election.
Just my opinion, I’m sure I’m wrong though.
