I’ve put no time into studying Luther as I have the 4 gospels, but I’ve never heard Luther ridiculed the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If the Gospel of Jesus Christ is inconsequential, what is to replace it?
That makes no sense whatsoever. If it weren’t for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then we are back to the law because absent Jesus Christ we are back at the law and no hope.

I would suggest you read Luther and his critique of the books of the bible.
He basically identifies the essential books of the bible and says those particular books are all that are necessary to understand the faith.
He basically indicates Mathew, Mark and Luke are non-essential.
According to Luther, Romans is the chief book of the Bible.

Lolzy. “All of society’s ills are caused by the guy opposite me in this current theological debate!!” Can y’all even hear yourselves?

Somehow we have arrived at Luther as the arbiter of what is and is not cannon? Not sure how we got here. I happen to believe the the entirety of scripture is Theopneustos, God breathed.
Jesus came to fulfill the law and offer himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of his people. We are declared righteous because of what he did—nothing we did or can do (justification). The same gift of faith that justifies us continues to work in us through the holy spirit to make us more like him (sanctification). We will never completely eradicate the sin in our flesh while in this life. That is why Paul says that he does the things he does not want to do despite knowing they are wrong (sin). But not perfectly keeping the law does not change your justification. It is Christ who died for you. He paid the price.

quote:
Biblically, the only way out of salvation is denouncing your faith. What do you think is a cause for losing one's salvation while still being a believer? Honest question.
20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;
21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
