Ignoring the fact that “natural law” is completely subjective, that doesn’t change the fact that you want your concept of an “orderly society” enforced by the state. There’s nothing wrong with that, and it’s simply false to claim that you don’t want your ideas imposed on others. That’s the entire purpose of laws.

And you continue to ignore the historical reality that the “subjectivity” of Natural Law was the foundational basis of this nation’s entire system of government. As our founders knew, there are just laws and unjust laws: just laws protect the “inalienable” Natural Rights of individuals; unjust laws infringe upon those Natural Rights. Indeed, our nation would not exist without this revolutionary insight:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

Then don't engage in trade that will enrich and empower the Communists. O wait. Not so anti-communist if it infringes in the short term on their precious "free" trade. Give me a break. They aren't anti-Communist to their core, they are anti-tariff to their core. That's their only, I repeat, only, principle.

When push comes to shove, like it should with the Chinese COMMUNIST Party, they bend over and tell Xi he can put it wherever he wants.
