The best time to have a civil war is when your biggest adversary cannot agree internally.
The gop could capitalize but we have too many rinos and the Dems will come out looking just fine.

No, it’s not MAGA, but they are certainly moving in on some of MAGA’s issues. I read the book, and I was struck at some of the ideas pitched as though Trump hadn’t campaigned on those very ideas. But Klein and Thompson are not anti-immigration, which is the hallmark of MAGA, and they are not against the Neocon efforts to convert the world. Those are two very big differences.

There will be no civil war in the Democratic party.
They do not give a shite what their own voters think. They have proven that, by action, multiple times.
Before it goes that far the Dem Poliburo will decide who is going to represent The Party and the rest will fall in line or be ousted and sent to a career-gulag never able to do insider trading or fundraise again.
