As long as y'all are o.k. forfeiting SS/Medicare to make it happen.
That's the only federal budget line-item that could come close to allowing us to reduce taxes enough to offset the jump in prices that the public is going to encounter by bringing the manufacturing for everything China currently supplies for us back here.
Their labor costs are about 1/4 of what ours are for manufacturing.

You think a 94 year old is paying people to post on tigerdroppings? And you think he’s paying them a lot of money?
That was the dollar becoming the reserve currency for the rest of the world after the British Pound got stomped in WW2. Had nothing to do with tariffs or taxes.
