If Texas finds just one committing voter fraud then it all was worth it.

I remember when you dems said there is no fraud, now your excited Texas only had 40K fraudulent votes.

Wow, you all are upstanding Americans.

But more strongly, not one citizen, not a single citizen in this great country, should have their voting right taken away under any circumstances, by it mistake or intentionally.

Can we not agree?

Under no circumstances should the rights of a voter be removed?

No, I think the 100's of thousands of dead people should not be able to vote democrat year after year, or ever.

I think that the U.S. should require voters to show a national I.D. just like in Mexico.

The I.D. should be the one that is issued to everyone when they turn 18, when they are also automatically registered to vote.

Both of this. National ID (we are almost there with Real ID) and automatic registration because.. I can't figure out why we wouldn't automatically register everyone eligible and only those eligible. No having to figure out what paperwork to use for a new job or DMV or registering to vote - national ID, shown, done.

Well that's just common sense. TT is the go to source on anything related to Texas politics.

So dems can create ballots for people that don't vote? No thanks. dems have already shown they have no problem "finding" boxes of ballots after an election. No need to make it easier for them.

Everyone has the right to register, and it is not difficult. Some people don't want to register (to avoid jury duty for instance), so why force them to do something against their will? What is the point of having thousands or even millions of people on voter rolls when they have no desire to participate? There is no point except to cheat.

Are you aware that several states, including CA and AZ for starters, allow mail-in voters, and provisional in-person voters to cure any vote deficiencies (such as un-matching signatures or addresses) until days after the election? (CA is 8 days after).

They are not "finding" ballot boxes. They are counting these late-arriving votes.

And it should be a Biometric version; with no opening for fraud. Could be the basis for an efficient E-Verify System, which extends into IRS as well. Of course, the Dems will oppose anything which limits their power. So...we pick our poison.

No one is claiming that any votes were certifiably illegally cast. They want the counties to send mail to the flagged voter registrations for them to verify their citizenship.

The flagged registrations go back 20 years. How is mailing notices to them now going to work, exactly?

Which is worse, someone voting illegally or depriving a U.S. citizen the right to vote?

You must be talking about Democrats throwing away voting ballots. I agree, that is despicable.

Do you take issue with the fact that states allow votes to be "proved-up" after the election?

Don't show your ignorance.

Someone voting illegally.

Bc the citizen deprived prolly didn’t do the things necessary to be able to vote, ie register correctly, documentation, etc. Tough shite.

I would have to see a link to ANYONE (GOP, Dem, LPA, Independent or otherwise) saying there is “no” voter fraud.

I have never seen anyone make a serious assertion to that effect. Most rational people understand that ANY system (voting or otherwise) will have some failures. The question is “what level of failure is acceptable?”

48,000 votes over a 22-year period in a State the size of Texas is a failure rate of approximately 1/100 of one percent, even if we accept the ridiculous premise that EVERY ONE of those votes was fraudulent.

Most people can accept a failure rate that low, especially if reducing it further would begin to interfere with the franchise of Texas citizens.

Have you ever read the Texas Tribune? Do you have any information that shows that the Texas secretary of state is not walking back their claims of last week?

You're a dumba$$.

You can't give a straight answer to a simple question.

You just post crap. And you don't have an honest bone in your whole body.
