DHS was completely exposed as lying about her and her co-defendants. DOJ had to dismiss the case with prejudice.
Of course, there won't be any prosecutions for the lying (duh, Trump DOJ isn't going to enforce the law against DHS), but DOJ lawyers might be in hot water with the federal judge.
"Abughazaleh is no longer facing criminal charges. The prosecution was dismissed with prejudice. The controversy has now shifted from whether she will be tried to whether government lawyers committed misconduct in bringing and handling the prosecution."
