Taking out the power grid in Iran is a strategy but it’s not the best strategy.

Taking out the power grid is a very last resort type move. There is another way that is more clean and neat.
Trump should announce that Iran is under blockade or quarantine until they surrender unconditionally. Lock up the Strait of Hormuz. No ships in and no ships out. It will raise gas prices for a time but it will also start to choke out Iran financially.
He should back that up by taking out every airstrip, train tracks, road, highway, game trail, and goat path leading to another country bordering Iran so nothing can be flown or shipped in by land.
Take out all the bridges so the IRGC and other units have trouble moving around the cities.
Finally it’s time to turn this problem over to the people of Iran. If we are going to arm them then it’s time to start getting that plan in the motion. Continue to soften up the units that would be responsible for cracking down on the people while we get the guns ready. Taking out the bridges will help the people because the IRGC will not be able to reinforce these crackdown units very well or very fast.
If cutting Iran off from the world and its money doesn’t make Iran quit and surrender then nothing will. Taking out the power grid I don’t think will be strong enough to do it.

I think he's doing exactly this. But rather than quarantine, he's taking out their energy.

You don’t think Russia and/or China would supply them through the “Stan’s”?

Vlad and Xi both know they are compromised right now. Trump has their balls in his hand and he can start squeezing at any point. Xi is bent over when it comes to oil. Vlad can’t afford to piss off Trump and risk Trump giving Ukraine some long range missiles or our new drones in response. They can get away with a little bs but they really can’t afford to go to far and make Trump want to respond.
