Synopsis of Russia meeting/ quotes - help wanted

I hate when people ask for this kind of stuff, but quite wrapped up today...
Anyone want to give a quick synopsis of what happened today, and what was said/ not said.
I keep seeing “treasonous” behavior, outrage, and panic. What was said today by both sides?
I’m curious as to what Putin said during PC as well.
I for one don’t really trust Russia, but could never see in a million years why a better relationship with Russia is a bad thing. Barry gave conccessions to nearly every “foe” we have and not a peep other than how presidential and inclusive he is.
While I’m the first one to cheer on a good troll job, I really hope real talks happened today and would expect both sides being firm with each other. I think any “fluff” and war feelings are BS and both countries see each other as biggest competitor for world politics in general.
I think you have China as biggest competitor/ adversary concerning economics but China pretty much stays to itself and South China Sea with its policing/ politics in my opinion.
TIA

FBI: Russia interfered
CIA: Russia interfered
Mueller Probe: Here are the Russians that interfered
Putin: I wanted Trump to win.
Trump: Well if you look at it, it is really both sides’ fault....

TRUMP said Muh Russia is a hoax started by Democrats who can't deal with the fact he beat Crooked Hillary like a drum despite the fact it was Her Turn and she outspent him by a Billion dollars.

Trump pledged to hand over the keys to the Oval Office to Putin within 90 days. Putin was gracious in acceptance and swore to honor the Kavanaugh nomination.

Here's what Putin said to that:
quote:
I for one don’t really trust Russia
Here's what Putin said to that:
quote:
As to who is to be believed, who is not to be believed: you can trust no one. Where did you get this idea that President Trump trusts me or I trust him? He defends the interests of the United States of America and I do defend the interests of the Russian Federation. We do have interests that are common. We are looking for points of contact. There are issues where our postures diverge and we are looking for ways to reconcile our differences, how to make our effort more meaningful. We should not proceed from the immediate political interests that guide certain political powers in our countries. We should be guided by facts.

Thanks. I was hoping that Putin and Trump would say something along those lines.
Thanks for being really first person yet to answer like a normal person.
You can’t trust someone when you both have your own self interests that of course conflicts with each other for obvious reasons.

I typically do, and will at some point, but just been swamped today. Just wanted a couple of quick responses that were thoughtful. I can read through BS answers, as most everyone else on here can when they want to.

While for the largest part I agree with you on this point ..
It is foolish to imply media sources outside of this board are not heavily biased and editorialized....
