Prior to the war the US had a crude inventory glut. If you ride down levee road north of Vacheria all this big white tanks at Plain, Locap, marathon, crimson, Exxon are beginning to fill up. There is a pipeline that leads from that area to Bayou Choctaw SPR(by Port Allen). Being there was a glut of oil we are in no danger of running out in the US. A release from the SPR would likely do little for gas prices just like when Biden was in office. This is a product of global oil prices and gas stations marking up prices immediately as the gas in the tanks was from the low price contracts.
