Read about St Patrick and the suffering he went through to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Irish tribes and you’ll hopefully get refocused on what matters.

had slaves two centuries ago.
terrible situation then =
but today's blacks in America need to thank their God for that fact - or else move back to their ancestral origins.
If they are gonna piss all over the legitimate gains the blacks have gained from their American citizenship over the past century then they need to go back to their roots and do better.
WE do not owe them a damned thing for their refusal to take advantage of the opportunities their ancestors sacrificed their own lives for. The ones we owe any debt to are long dead and now fondly remembered. I can just imagine what some slave in 1860 would think if he could have had a peek into today's "black lives matter" bullshite.
dont get me started on this 'racism' bullshite - I just remind people that it was their own forebears who SOLD them into slavery in the first place. IF their ancestors had anything other than slaves to sell, there would never have been any slavery - other than war captives. Certainly no mass trans-Atlantic slave trade without the blacks in subsaharan Africa providing the slaves for sale.

I wish Desantis would understand his presidency would be way more successful if he was handed over a fresh DC instead of what we have now. Help purge out the democrats turned Repubs to get elected Rino's.
I'm with you on that
and equally = I hope that trump doesn't take a "win it or burn it down" stance where he tries to destroy his primary opponents.
That's gonna be the test - can Trump just run on his record and agenda - not going personal destruction on competition.
edit - and of course none of this makes any difference unless we can somehow get some integrity back into the election process itself =====> THAT is my greatest fear. - that nothing we do actually matters - the die is cast - the ballots to be counted are already being printed.

.there are still tens of millions of Americans who prefer the current illegitimate regime's shite show to the peace and prosperity of Trump's four years in the presidency
Couldn't be more true sadly.

I probably worry about this stuff too much
You will get kicked for it and brow beat as if you're "obsessed," but the reality is everyone else isn't obsessed enough for the change you and I both want to see happen. And if they DID give a flying fk enough this would never have happened in the first place.
It's a burden for those that see the utter heavy weight this all really is. Freedom is a human historic anomaly. And our people are the ONLY people on earth that can really defend it right now, and only HALF of us are aware of it. Almost none of that half will lift a finger, yet...
It really makes you wonder if the human race will ever EARN freedom except in very brief periods of time. (ie: revolutionary war et al)
