Which states have mandated mask wearing? As well as counties?
Do we have data to see if positive cases are slowing?
Doesn't California/ LA have mandatory masks? I don't think cases are dropping there.

Tokyo has used masks for generations ...they have plenty of data available to prove that masks slow or prevent the spread of disease.

70,000 new cases! That’s not good. There’s trouble in paradise.

That’s a really messy question- because communities that enact these rules are likely to engage in other fear based behaviors, that could limit their exposure.
No one has established that aerosol transmission is a dangerous vector either. We hypothesize it’s possible - but we haven’t established it.
I’m personally very skeptical. I don’t think the aerosol component is a major risk factor. Otherwise entire families would be getting sick at once. That’s not happening.

We've got 10 gazillion vaccines and antidotes in the pipeline but no idea how the virus spreads.
We have all these precautions being mandated, but let's carve out a lil something for mayhem.
Headline: Cases Soar!

At first the virus would survive for days on surfaces, then it was the opposite.
