This. Bruce has been strictly far-left liberal for decades now, even more so than other celebrities.
This story isn’t even worth the click.

He has always been an American hating piece of shite.

Here's my entire post. You missed a few pieces...
Yeah, so what. He was right to do it.
America's first corporate, for profit foreign war remains the mother of them all, and good for the guys who managed to avoid that shite. Almost 60,000 American soldiers died in that war for no good fricking reason at all. Not one.
Draft dodging is draft dodging. It doesn’t matter if you come from a wealthy family and received five deferments, with the fifth because of "bone spurs" or you fled to Canada. Those without means sometimes packed up and left, those with means called their frickin' Daddies.
Not one single current American serviceman will go to war to protect his country. Instead, he'll go to war for defense contractors. He'll go to war because it's good for the economy. He'll go to war because it creates jobs. He'll go to war for GE, Halliburton, Northrop Grumman and all the rest of them.
My investment portfolio thanks them all for their service.
If or when we have another draft. Dodge the frick out of it.
Oh and on the second part. That's a troll, right?
Now, about this....
Because that's how it is.
Alot probably do love their country. As do I, but I'm not gonna lie to myself about the current purpose of the United States Armed Forces. The military in its current form exists to protect corporate interests. This is why we fight wars that we have no intention of winning. They're for profit only and to win is to take future profit off the table.
The Middle East for instance has no global value whatsoever other than energy and war profiteering. They're barbarians, all of them, including Israelis and they bring nothing of cultural value to the international table.
The United States has successfully cultivated the Middle East for war profit. It's disturbing that there are still people who can't see this.
I'm all for people joining the service, just so long as they know who and what they're fighting for, and for those folks who still live some romanticized lie about why we now go to war. News flash, it's not for our freedom or so called American ideals.
In my entire life. Not one single American soldier has died for my freedom or yours, but a shitload of them have died for shareholders and corrupt politicians.

Why would you write this?
Their motivation may not be yours. Perhaps they actually love the country.
