A lot of people get immediately turned off by making it political, but it’s impossible not to if you want have a serious debate about prevention. Banning guns isn’t the answer. I think most reasonable people on the right would be more open to different ideas if the left didn’t take a mile when given an inch. Slippery slopes by the parties have made rationality in debating by the other party obsolete.
