The Democrats were focused on putting out-of-touch celebrities out there along with boring, uninspirational people that Trump beat and dismissed (Bitch Romney, John Kasich) while the Republicans used real people with real inspirational stories to promote him.
The video they used with Governor Covid, I mean, Cuomo, saying how great the president/Federal response for New York was in his own words was also extremely effective in showing how fake Cuomo is while combating the Democratic message that Trump bungled the whole response.
