It's just another dress rehearsal to test the measures of the US government. They will do what they always do - instigate and then play victim when the response comes, in an attempt to portray government LE as 'stormtroopers.' It's been their playbook since forever.
Trump shouldn't send troops unless violence occurs. If he sends feds in preemptively, I think that would just fall into a lot of these traps.
Remind the people who live in these cities that their leaders allow this shite, then act when they don't.

Personally I hope they have a massive turnout, the police (of every stripe) stay at home, such destruction and chaos the YA Carnival Cruises look like...well, cruises, a few accidental manslaughter, razed neighborhoods. The while gamut. Let them loose to show their true colors for the whole US to see. Schumer better get out of their before dusk or he's gonna get drawn and quartered by his minions.
