I wish Abbott would go just as hard after those two brothers who brought in, hired, and built an entire neighborhood to house a boatload of illegal immigrants. They're his boys, though......big donors to his campaign. They won't even get a slap on the wrist.

Copied and pasted: Legal Process for Removal: While the Governor cannot directly remove a representative, a representative could potentially be removed from office through a legal process (such as a quo warranto action in a district court) if it is determined that they have forfeited their office due to abandonment. However, this is a judicial process, not an action the Governor can take unilaterally.
