Hey putz, I have never owned a gun and I have been physically attacked on many occasions while just walking down the street minding my own business.
One time I was attacked by two men (a black man and a hispanic man} who didn't know me for just happening to look in their direction at the two women who were with them when I got out of my car after I parked it which resulted in my leg being broken. Another time I was hit over the head with a 5 foot wooden club. Another time I was punched hard twice in the jaw because I was calmly trying to stop a fight from happening in my friend's store's parking lot. Another time I was punched in the jaw and my head was pushed into a plate glass window which resulted in having to get 4 stitches in the back of my head. Another time my brother and I were physically attacked by a carload of hispanic guys when we were just walking down the street. That's not even mentioning all the times I was physically attacked when I lived in Georgia because I was a "hippie". One time while my brother and I were driving down a main street in Athens, a carload of good ole boys pulled along side our car and started threatening to beat the shite out of us because we were "hippies". They wanted us to pull into a parking lot so they could duke it out with us. Unbeknownst to them, we had our friend's M-1 rifle in the trunk of our car so when they pulled into the parking lot, we kept driving straight then pulled over to the side of the road and got the M-1 out of the trunk. When they pulled their car up right next to us again while we were stopped for a red light and began threatening to beat our asses again, the only thing that saved us from being physically attacked was that my brother who was sitting in the passenger seat with the M-i on his lap hidden from their view, picked up the M-1 and pointed to the driver while saying, "OK motherfrickers. You want to frick around, let's frick around". Everyone in the car tried to hide and the driver immediately sped off leaving about 100 feet of rubber.
That rifle probably saved our lives even though those good ole boys didn't know that the M-1 didn't have a bullet in it.
I just wish I had a concealed gun on me all of the other times I was physically attacked.
So frick you for saying time and time again, I do nothing!!!

Oh great, if we're holding entities responsible for the actions of an individual, then I hold the DNC responsible for the actions of its lunatic followers who are shooting up congressional baseball practices, and people who are destroying public and private property.
See how that works? It doesn't. An entity cannot be held accountable for the action of an individual unless said individual is an employee or acting as an agent.

Bet the majority of those kids who want complete abolishing of the 2nd amendment and guns are not taught the Constitution and the meaning and reason for each amendment. Like the guy who did the shooting they want attention but at a lesser intent.
You never hear the lack of success in other countries by eliminating guns because the country won't admit it has failed.

In fairness there are several examples of it being incredibly successful. However none of those countries had even close to the gun ownership and sheer amount of guns we do.
Those numbers is what make any type of ban completely impractical
ETA: they have been successful at reducing gun ownership and gun violence.

direct election of senators,
This is the most overlooked pillar in the degradation of our constitutional system.
We need to repeal the 17th. With it there is zero difference between the senate and the house. The founders understood the fallacy of a fully directly elected legislature.

Since women got the right to vote.

Have they, though? When you look at the actual data, you really can't draw a conclusion on how effective they really are.
Your gun control proponents will cherry pick and slant certain numbers to support their cause, and you'll see gun control opponents do the same for their cause.
Also, I don't think comparing countries like Australia to the US is an apples to apples comparison for reasons you said: population, number of guns, and the fact that Australia (to my knowledge) never had the overall number of mass shootings the US has. One thing is clear though: homicides in Australia still happen at near the same rate now as before the gun controls, and acts of non-gun related violence have gun up considerably.

Give us a break!
The parents and other adults in the area should be dealing with those kids' pain and anguish.
Their pain and anguish shouldn't be blasted all over MSM just for political purposes.

This is what I was implying with my ETA. I agree with you. American gun ownership is entirely unique and Im not sure that there is a real world comparison to be made.
