Yeah they’re dirty, conniving dogs that are hell bent on taking the country over. Just look at their hiring practices once they get those management positions. Your once-great office space looks like New Delhi.

I hope you told the folks following up with you that the Indians were the blockade. Ask if an Indian was hired for the spot too.
I did with Wal Mart and Peacock.
Wal Mart was the worst interview process ever. Primary recruiter loved me. Was a solid guy. But EVERY SINGLE PERSON I interviewed with was an Indian. Many of which LIVED in India, not the US. One guy I interviewed with would have been the guy I would have reported to, and he lived in India.
First Wal Mart role I interviewed for I interviewed with 3 Indians separately, all of which were combative and gave me extremely tough interviews as if I was defending a master's thesis. Got rejected. Recruiter was baffled and submitted me for another role. Same exact thing only this time I did a panel interview with 4 Indians (one woman, 3 guys) and if there was a such thing as a gang rape interview, that one was it. Got rejected again. Recruiter again baffled. He said he was going to submit me for another role and I told him no thanks. No interest in dealing with that bullshite a 3rd time.
Peacock was also bad. First guy I interviewed with was the most hostile interview I've ever had. He was actually yelling and screaming at me from the get go as if I was his own son who had gotten into trouble. Only interview to date I've ever left on mid call. Like with Wal Mart, the recruiter for NBC Universal loved me, and was so baffled as to how I couldn't make it past the first round. Told him the guy interviewing me was a jackass looking to DQ me so he could hire one of his own. He said its against NBC Universal policy to discriminate but I told him to stop believing the bullshite.
My last job all came apart when we let go the CMO/VP who hired me and the VP was replaced by an Indian who came from.... Wal Mart.

I’ll take it. I don’t care. Since things are worth more than money. Like nationhood.

I agree, I just wonder how much more competent these folks are. I’m all for the immigration in areas of great need, but to do so extremely sparingly. Exactly how many engineers of this caliber are needed?

Inflation plus future job losses look like a recipe for economic collapse.
The govt needs to stop pushing job growth at all cost.

People need to get this through their thick skulls

Just like we need to stop pushing population growth at all costs. Especially imported population growth.

Without money we collapse.
A better plan would be for government to stop creating jobs at full employment.

I'm ok with this as long as people realize what this means.

That's the thing. The person ignorant of this issue thinks we are bringing them in to cure cancer, send people to Mars, and win the AI arms race.
In reality 99.9% of them are brought in to fill entry level, mid level and middle management software engineering, data science, and developer positions.

I’m okay with that aspect too. We can’t go on like this.

"The Rule Of Law!":
They (illegal immigrants) are not supposed to be here at all, because, by Dem definition, no-one is 'above the law'............
Sorry, deport them all, this is my-our country, that of American citizens who pay taxes. None of these folks do, so they all need to wait in line like so many before them. And if the truth hurts, like it does to millions of Dems, then take a Benedryl. We all know you're allergic to the truth.......................

Right? How can they cure cancer when they are the cancer?

The industrial revolution was fueled by immigrant labor. Your infrastructure was built by immigrant labor.
Even the mines here were full of immigrant labor.

White immigrants who willingly assimilated into the new American identity project
And we gave up on that, and it’s going to be the destruction of the country
I’ve already accepted that this is inevitable, and some of us will be setting up self sustaining enclaves in the future, but I’m not gonna not call a spade a spade

I still think a big problem is indians are DSA robots so they initially seem very impressive. They can pass the tech interview easily but the quality of code they write in production is fricking horrid (example: all outsourced code ever written). I dont care that you are a leetcode god when you have no idea how to actually do the job.
Reddit is cringe but there are tons of threads going back years calling out Indian discrimination in tech.

Funny thing is, there's other visa types for real heavy hitters of industry, and there's no limit.
Have you heard a word about those?
