You’re correct.

The private insurance market has been ratcheting down on a home health reimbursement for decades.

This means that the vast majority of the increase in home health reimbursement is coming from Medicare and Medicaid.

If the government wants to save billions of dollars, they could launch audits of any program that Medicare reimburses for that does not require an inpatient stay for reimbursement.

I heard our acting AG speak, he said the federal govt gives funding to state AG offices to hire people to investigate fraud. Hawaii got funding for six lawyers, in a whole year they came up with 39K in fraud.

Which means, not only is the fraud not being investigated THE STATE AG OFFICE IS DEFRAUDING AS WELL, by keeping the funding and not investigating fraud.

It’s not. These are huge, public cases but the amount of tax revenue that is fraudulently funneled through NGOs back to politicians is much, much larger than what we’ve seen in these Shirley videos.

A lot of these people come from places where kleptocracy is the accepted form of government.
