This youtuber breaks it down pretty well.
Sounds like pedo started chasing Kyle because Kyle put out the dumpster fire that the rioters were going to push towards a building - mark 3:30 in the video.

Kyle is a hero. We sit on our asses typing out snarky response (myself include) while this kid does something.
Photos of him earlier in the day cleaning graffiti off walls are out there. Witnesses stating they saw him treating protester’s wounds and administering first aid. And now, he puts out a literal dumpster fire the rioters were pushing towards a gas station.
And for this, he gets attacked by rioters and forced to defend himself.

Yep, and called a white supremecist and racist by the media who make out a pedo, felon and skateboarder trying to bash his head in hero martyrs. When the civil war starts, we are getting close, these media members who willingly push a false narrative to start the war will all be hanging Mussolini style from the nearest bridge.

Nah, I'd rather just toss them to the mob and let them try to explain they're on their side.

From the video, it doesn’t look like Rittenhouse, himself, put out the fire. But he was running toward it with a fire extinguisher so the fire was likely put out by the extinguisher he ran to get.

Thats what it looked like for me as well. That definitely was not Kyle putting out the fire.
