“Jesus” didn’t even interpret this Psalm correctly. These “gods” weren’t people, but gods in the skies.

It makes absolutely no sense to rationalize all the claims in the Bible about how much better Yahweh is than all the other gods and how he is God of the other gods… if there are no other gods.

Who’s Yahweh punishing in heaven? Humans? No. It’s the other gods.
