this board is mostly Christian, right? does "teach a man to fish" ring any bells? have you heard that one? that guy can now not only take care of himself, but help others too. he was taught how to do something, and his education benefits everyone.

this is also cheaper, btw, since you would pay for college once but a new truck every 5 or 6 years.

Does it really?

Let's say Gm/Ford/Ram get 500K more truck sales per year from trucks that are bought for tax payers with government money. You would be hard pressed to prove that more people weren't helped through the supply chain of building those additional trucks than if the same amount of money were spent on college education.
