It appears that many here are unaware of how chummy this administration has been with Sharpton, especially Eric Holder.

FYI.....

How a man that backed Tawana Brawley and all the baggage that came with it including the 6 figure tax evasion charges can be taken serious by anyone is beyond reason.

Exactly, stat19.

But idiots like Decatur and trackfan are pushing for this pos to be placed on the Supreme Court.

Birds of a feather.......

Blame MSNBC. They're the ones who gave him his platform.

Eric Holder takes Al Sharpton seriously, trackfan.

That's an inconvenient truth for you, isn't it?

Al Sharpton
This man is a proven liar, incompetent, and illiterate.
How many times (recently) have we heard how no one views Sharpton as a leader in the black community? That his opinions carry no weight? "Who cares about what Al Sharpton says anyway?!?!"

It makes perfect sense that he would be in on naming the next attorney general for the United States.

The Republicans have already promised to put any confirmation procedings under the microscope & anyone with Sharpton's backing won't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting confirmed.

Sharpton doesn't have a chance in hell.

They will probably find a Van Jones type who has managed to keep his nose clean.

Although, it could very well be a white guy. There are actually some smart versions of Spiderman Tuba or Draconian Sanctions out there. Hell, I think tigahintheatl and Vegas Bengal are white. They could get a smart version of one of those fools
