Because we lived through 2016. Because the Gallup poll showed that 53% of people consider themselves better off today than 4 years ago (a record). Because republican voter registration trends in Fl, NC, and PA are better than they were in 2016 and are highly predictive. Because there is a double digit enthusiasm gap between Trump supporters and Biden supporters. Because polls on get a 2% response rate therefore you need to make 50,000 calls just to get 1000 responses and the white working class has stopped answering polls.

That said, I still think it will be close and don't really know who will win.

One thing I think about is that the Gaslight crowd has made the radical Left seem larger than life. Likewise, the rabid hate for Trump. Within the actual rank and file of everyday Democrat voters, people you rub shoulders with every day, I’m not so sure there is universal buy in by these voters. BidenHarris is not an attractive ticket, and their radical socialist violence based race baiting platform is not a winning one among Americans in general. In other words, America May in fact NOT be as divided as the MSM wants us to believe. So a large Biden Anti-Trump vote may not emerge. And in fact, many may just stay home. Anyway, that’s a hope.

I think what we're seeing is a massive media campaign to suppress the TRUMP vote from independents and those still on the fence in the swing/battleground states. They are hoping they can convince them to not even bother and stay home.

National polls mean nothing. It will once again come down to a handful of states like it does in most elections. Anyone who believes this is over is mistaken.

*Disclaimer: I personally believe that anyone who wants Joe Biden and the ditzy chick to run this country has to be a certified moron. Joe couldn't tell you today's date, off the cuff.

I think there is a chance Trump will lose, but not by that much. With the polls, I think people are legitimately afraid to say they are voting for Trump. I mean, where I live and work (I work in a liberal-leaning field), there is no way I’m telling anyone I’m voting for Trump.

I have my concerns as well. I've encountered a lot of third party as well as non-voters in 2016 who are sold on Biden. I know a lot of former Trump voters who allowed the media and dems to convince them that Trump's "incompetence" is responsible for this pandemic. And it's far too many for me personally to not be concerned.

I believe the media and Democrats have also purposely created Trump fatigue due to their round the clock negative coverage and this only benefits them.

Remember, this country elected Obama twice. We still lost the house even after lefties demonstrated they were too unhinged and unstable to be in any position of power. We can't be over confident. We HAVE to vote. Every single one of us. No ifs ands or buts. And we have to make sure every Trump voter we know doesn't sit this one out. Because you guys need to understand, there are more registered dems in this country than Republicans and not a single Democrat is going to sit this one out. Those Democrats who hated Hillary like Biden.
