Sen. Ron Johnson presses Wray on validity of Hunter Biden laptop claim

It was October 28th when James Comey held his infamous press conference pressed by information gleaned from Weiner’s laptop.
Will Wray be forced again to have a 12th hour press conference because of Hunter’s laptop and it’s implications?
Surely, history won’t repeat itself?

Wray isn’t going to inform him.
But if he does it will be a made up bull shite story along the lines of they could not authenticate the emails as not being foreign disinformation.
And no one is seeing that laptop. It’s probably destroyed. Or wiped clean, like with a cloth.

But Hunter’s former jailed business partner, Bevan Cooney has turned over thousands of emails as well and he and Archer are pissed that they are getting jail time while Biden walks for the same violations.
It will be harder to pretend it’s all fake when multiple sources are providing information

I guess people could say they don’t have faith in Wray in response. But that’s probably as far as it goes.

Listen, I’m also skeptical anything will happen, but I also wouldn’t have predicted the Comey press conference 4 years ago either. If the Republicans would make a big enough racket about all of this, it couldn’t be ignored.

Didn't the computer guy make multiple copies, including the one he sent to the NY Post? My guess is he may have a suicidal head injury with two shots behind the ear.

Yea he made copies of the hard drive. Only reason this reality is seeing the light of day other than being just words from someone’s mouth.

I suppose the worst that could happen to Wray is that he be forced to resign.
I guess that’s something.
But nothing has really happened to Comey other than his being forced out. And getting praised by the media and a tv mini series portraying him as an honest noble hero.

And yea if I’m that guy I’m on every show I can get on, putting my name out there as much as possible, telling the world that if I should be killed in a botched robbery, or struck by a car, or if a piano should be dropped on my head, or if I happen to be hit by a bolt of lightning, or if I should asphyxiate from a carbon monoxide leak, that the Democrats and their ef bee aye friends had me killed.

The FBI is eyeballs deep in the thing. It never disengaged. With an assist from Mueller, anti-Trump corruption continued unabated where Comey, McCabe, Baker, and Strzok left off.
Given these computer revelations, it's apparent they ever actually let up. Meaning, if involved officials are unsuccessful ousting Trump, they are screwed.

Something Johnson said bothers me, though it might simply be a ruse to force action.
He said the whistle blower should be investigated and prosecuted if the info is false.

This is my take as well.
If Trump wins presumably, at a minimum, Wray and the CIA Director are shown the door within an hour of President Trump's Inauguration.
