Once you start questioning things, you begin to realize just how thin the evidence is which supports your entire world view of who we are as humans and how we arrived at this moment in time.

The media and the govt realize that 90% of the public is not into critical thinking. Even intelligent people don't have time for it. One thing to determine truth is rebuttal to critiques. Example would be The Bell Curve.
TBC Assertion: IQ is genetic.
Critique: Lots of articles and books saying 'No.'
Rebuttal by Murray of The Bell Curve: Line by line refutation of why every single critique is wrong.
Critiquers: Silent, crickets, never mind.
Conclusion: IQ is genetic.
Most people just can't do that kind of reading to determine truth. A simpler way is 'How often was the message wrong?'
If the same agencies predict global warming will kill us in five years. And their prediction is wrong for 50 years then they are lying now.
