There will be disagreements, but doctrine says that the husband has the last say and he will decide on his moral wisdom and ethical conscience. He is to lead in the family's Christian faith and she should be subservent to his wishes. She is allowed to discuss, but untimely his decision is final.
This is how my family believe too. And kept to it, and parents and grandparents all have had long marriages.
quote:
That is not how we stayed married for 47 years. You won't stay married that long without compromise, forgiveness, trust and respect.
What your pastor said has nothing to do with those things you listed. My parents discuss things, and out of respect for each other my mother trusts his final decision, because she trusts and knows my father listened to her and needed her opinion.
Obviously that's on the bigger decisions not the day to day things like what's for dinner.

How do these utter fools get elected?

Grok, is this true?
• Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson (who took office in January 2026) attended an Eid al-Adha prayer event on May 27 at the Seattle Convention Center organized by the Idris Mosque and shared photos from it on Instagram celebrating unity and the Muslim community.
• The images show her smiling in front of a large audience of hundreds of men in traditional Islamic attire seated on prayer rugs, with a cropped version highlighting several men smiling or appearing to laugh in the background.
• The post by @EndWokeness accurately reflects the mayor’s own shared photo and the visual details, though interpretations of the men’s expressions as mockery remain subjective rather than confirmed

How’s that? By clarifying your question and answering it? OK. Thanks for the input.

All your grok inquiry did was say that it's the same picture that appeared on her social media. It never said whether it was photoshopped.

I’ve no reason to believe that it’s photo shopped. It clearly looks like she’s standing in front of the crowd and they’re looking at her. Why is this so goddamn important? JFC, people are so hyper reactive over the most minor of things.
