along with a bunch of other scientific forensics way above my pay scale.

They'll use gamma spectroscopy to determine look for specific isotopes and mass spectroscopy for trace elements, compare that to databases they have on every uranium mine in the world, and then combine that with intelligence on situations where material has been smuggled.

At any rate, they can and will link it back to mines in Utah. Which, by the way, if you'll take note, most of the people who will speak out against this have Utah in their handle here on this board. This time it's UtahCajun, and last night it was the guy with Auburn in his user name, but had Utah listed as his favorite team.

They're nervous.

Forgive my ignorance, but how can U-235 be traced back to source?

Did you know that we can tell where any sample of crude oil on earth comes from?

You’ve seen all the details as to the methods, procedures for verifying their adhesion to the rules or ceasefire agreement or what have you? And you yourself have thought it through fully, as per those details, and conclude that it’ll be as simple as a child telling a lie?

Son I wanna know who you know!! That’s a lol.

Nuclear forensics can pinpoint its source.

I thought it could be traced back to the reactors. Each reactor has its own fingerprint that can be distinguished from every other reactor.

It can be linked to where it was mined from the earth due to signature trace elements which are unique to each specific mine.

Nah. That deal was mostly on paper. They have plenty of uranium in Iran. Don't need a conspiracy.

Yes, that is easy. It is a molecule.

U-235 is not.

Therein lies my question.

Thank you. That was easy.

I hope refined gaseous material has enough trace elements.

Everyone knows who I am.

Also, we already know the chain of custody on the material. It went from Utah, to Canada, to Europe, to Asia and then ultimately to North Korea and Iran.

Tick tock.

I don't know you piggie, but if what you say is true here, I will still buy you several bourbons once the people you are talking about go down.

It’s looking more and more like this deal is a pause instead of an end to this crisis. Until Iran hands over the nuclear material we have essentially the status quo ante, except Iran has a ton of damage to their war making and has lost their most senior leaders.

If Iran never hands over the nuclear material Trump can wait until after the midterms and resume the war. This deal gives Trump what he needs: low oil prices for the midterms and an excuse to resume the attack if Iran does not give up the nukes. Iran gets a respite in which they can reassert control of their population and restore some of their military capabilities.

Trump’s gains are more concrete. Iran’s can be taken away in a week by a resumption of hostilities.
