What are the chances the Leftist run DOJ is going to dig into illegal campaign finance donations that may hurt Democrats.
That information is public. I don't know what kind of conspiracy you think is going on when almost all of that information is publicly available.
The question is if he was lying about giving the same amount to the GOP via less public means.

How do you think he reacted?
With a sense of relief.

When he's sentenced to time, you're going to move the goalpost again and then say he got less because of his "connections"
He hasn't been tried yet, dipshit. DO you understand how indictments work? We know cwill doesn't.
quote:
It didn't do that, though.
"My legal team has advised me not to answer these questions as it may hinder an ongoing indictment." Yeah, that's totally not plausible....
SFP, it's like you are new to this entire thing. You're just going to pretend the DOJ, this administration, and the fact this dude was the largest single donor to the Democrats won't play at all into the legitimacy of this indictment?

Again, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. The only thing this "indictment" did, was prevent Friedman from speaking before the house, which is going to be run by the Republicans come January. What a coincidence.

We probably need to know where every last dime went. Again, do you seriously believe Garland is going to "dig in"?

You think he had a sense of relief when he was arrested on serious federal charges?

He hasn't been tried yet, dipshit.
Well I understand what happened and it won't take a genius prosecutor to get him convicted, especially in the SDNY.

DO you understand how indictments work?
Yes. They're the thing people like you said weren't going to happen. Now you're saying they're worthless and have moved the goalpost to postulating that he won't be convicted.
Again, I repeat:

Have you followed his recent behavior?
On the flip side, do you know he could have taken the 5th at the hearing?

No. He's a political hot potato now that they'll all be distancing themselves from.
Even the coordinated media can't hide this stench.

I guess he could have sat around and dodged and shaken nervously as he dodged questions like he did in all of his media appearances post collapse, which are going to be used against him.

Uh, the admin was only 1/3 of the institutions/actors in play with my comment.

BugAc is a prime example of what happens when you fall too far down the "everything in our government is corrupt" hole...you actually believe that someone can steal and torch $32B and get away with it by making a few well placed political donations.

I'm not sure what you 2 idiots think you just accomplished here. I don't give a shite about the guilty party's side of things. I want him questioned by people who have nothing to gain from this. I know it sound crazy, but i don't think the honor system works very well when you don't get questioned on your claims.

Well, we managed to let the guy who funded the gain of function research into coronavirus to still make policy decisions on Covid that affected the entire country. Who gives a shite about covering up a few billion? Hell we give more to Zelensky.
I know, silly me. Taking recent examples and information to make a logical opinion. I should just shut up and read the NY Times and WAPO to get my opinions on things. They would never lie...

You (again) have not a fricking clue as to what you are talking about, and, most importantly, you don't give a shite about facts.

You posted his fricking opening statement he was going to give to the committee, jackass. How is that the same as being questioned about his finances, political donations, etc...?

He sent out some “ IOU’s”, I would hold on to them, they are just as good as money…..That’s what this reminds me of….

The fraud money was used to help the democrats get elected. I wonder how many of these democrats and rinos new of the fraud that supported this money that landed in their campaign war chest.

Also from Ray:
He's definitely getting away with it...it's all lining up bro!
quote:
Mr. Ray was asked to quantify the epic collapse of FTX and compare it with the collapse at Enron. Mr. Ray oversaw the unwinding of the energy trading company after an accounting scandal in 2001.
He said they were distinct situations and called the perpetrators of Enron’s crimes “highly sophisticated,” whereas FTX executives appeared to have engaged in “really just old-fashioned embezzlement” and were not at all sophisticated.
Nonetheless, Mr. Ray’s responses suggested that he believed Sam Bankman-Fried, FTX’s former chief executive, was well aware of fraud at the company. At one point, he was asked if it would have been possible for Mr. Bankman-Fried to not have known of the mixing of funds between FTX entities, as he has claimed previously, including in interviews with The New York Times.
“No,” Mr. Ray responded.
He's definitely getting away with it...it's all lining up bro!
