Saudi Arabia admits Khashoggi was killed in fight at consulate

The annoucement, which came in a tweet from the Saudi foreign ministry, said that an initial investigation by the government's general prosecutor found that Khashoggi been in discussions with people inside the consulate when a quarrel broke out, escalating to a fatal fist fight.
The Saudi government said it had fired five top officials and arrested 18 other Saudis as a result of the initial investigation. Those fired included Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's adviser Saud al-Qahtani and deputy intelligence chief Maj. Gen. Ahmed al-Assiri.

I still can't figure out why this is news. It is all sort of bizarre.
Of all the things happening in this country, there is no reason for this to be front page leading story News every day. The MSM is desperately trying to shield Americans from how good they have it and the domestic problems we're facing.
These should be the top stories every day on our domestic main stream media sites and programs:
Record economy
Record low unemployment
Record numbers of sex trafficking arrests
Border security
Violent mobs harassing politicians
A caravan trying to make it here
Record high federal revenues with record high spending
The Fed increasing rates
Midterm elections looming
Democrat senators advocating for executive branch insurrection
Republican senators refusing to address the ballooning budget and spending
China VS US Trade problems and negotiations
US and Mexico border enforcement and relations
Etc.....
People have literally been murdered everyday in the middle east for political or religious reasons as long as I've been alive. Obama dropped a bomb a day from a drone on these people and the Saudis funded Clinton's campaign and no one cares. Why is this suddenly news?
