Good point.
We have to remember to look out for that and companies that are going the ESG route. Which seems like many are. Not sure if stoppable.

Yep, send them money every month. Good organization overall. But SV needs to back away from the cliff, dumb take and dangerous (for donations).

Yeah, if St Judes is woke and hates white people too then I just don’t want to know about it. Their mission is so far above in importance.

Agree with the research but not all are scams. I am involved with a small one, called Here to Serve. We supply free hot cooked meals to disaster victims. We have been to a couple of places in LA after hurricanes.
We are a 501 (3)(c) and every penny is spent on the mission. Mostly food, but of course there are other expences. Styrofoam plates, untenils, condiments. We have a couple of fundraisers each year (we smoked turkeys for thanksgiving). We also accept donations.
Several people in our group donate a lot of money in addition to their time. The next door neighbor of the lead guy just donated $10,000 to us for a backup second generator.
We usually spend between $28,000-$35,000 for a week of meals. We provide lunch and supper. The last one in Prairieville we did 6,300 meals.
My point is the local churches are vital to us and your support of them is extremely important. With that being said there are alot of shady groups so, as you said: do your research.

Just cannot believe it, and they won't be getting another dime. I ALWAYS Gave to them, many times during the holiday.
