A classmate said in an interview that he was absolutely not bullied. Said he tried to bully people and would fail and then get mad at himself.

If only it were that simple.
One of my best friends is a high school principal at fairly large school in north Alabama (~300 kids per grade).
He says the bullying is relentless. The kids don’t get a break like we did when the bell rings in the afternoon.
Facebook, instagram, twitter, tiktok, text messages, etc. These little assholes post stuff in all veins of social media using burner accounts.
Even if the kid being bullied isn’t on social media, tons of their classmates see it.
It’s a real problem.
