No I believe he used his expired police credentials to get into the event without being searched and stood in the corner until the time was right.

This is my question unless that guy was the security. Seems odd he was fine giving his speech with that guy just standing behind him.
Also, they have some pretty ridiculously good pictures of the guy during all this. Just seemed odd.
