The Russians are the aggressors and invaders.
I wouldn't cry when Nazi's got killed invading Poland, France, etc., or cry when China tries to invade Taiwan and Chinese are killed, and I'm not going to cry when a Russian who knows damn well he's targeting innocent civilians gets killed doing so.

It's very difficult to be sympathetic toward the Russians considering the history our two nations have toward each other over the past 80 years or so.
