What kind of sad boring life must one be living to worry about such phrases. You know you are extremely privileged if the gender of a phrase is on your list of concerns

Imagine having a crew member fall overboard, you yell “man overboard” and the drowning person gets insulted by your use of the term, refuses help from said Nazi’s and ends up drowning.
