Not sure why you lump me in with those guys or that philosophy, but I volunteered for both Ron Paul campaigns, attended a Mises symposium in Houston, and worked at a think tank in DC following Ron Paul’s philosophy of limited governance.

I also ran for state rep running basically on his platform in AL, unsuccessfully.

Ron Paul was literally laughed at on this board for his foreign policy ideas as well as fiscal ideas. In 2007 and 2011.
Not by conservatives. Maybe by soy slurping pillow biters, but not by conservatives.

I like Ron Paul but damn did the media crucify him. I believe that tremendously hurt his reputation because the media made him look like a crazy conspiracy theorist to the public. I think the media went after him hard because they saw him as a threat and he spoke truth which they hate.

Even if they hadn’t cheated Trump we would have still had some problems, granted on a way smaller level.

Trump did little if anything to curb spending, but our current inflation is far worse than it would have been with him at the helm. The demented hair-sniffer poured gas on the fire with his idiotic statements and actions on fossil fuels. Fuel prices ripple throughout the entire economy, over and over and over.

My bad.

I get heated thinking about it sometimes. Especially with how truly awful Romney has outed himself. It makes it even more frustrating.

Ron Paul should've been president from 2008-2016

The sad thing is that we as voters ignored other candidates that would do better but voted for the ones that did the most damage.
