Have any Democrat assassinated any Republicans at the game yet?

I've been to one.

It's actually for charity. It's one of the few good things that come out of D.C.

Democrats are the most non-athletic people on the face of the earth.

"You retards?"

I didn’t vote for him, you dumbass.

And I'm not wasting my time explaining how he stays in office.

43% didn’t vote for him ... 43%. All SC Republicans.

Figure it out yourself, you shite for brains.

I never would've dreamed that Mitch McConnell could play Shortstop that well. He covers a lot of ground.

You sure about that ? I’m sure the proceeds make it into their “campaign” one way or another. USAID fed the homeless too.

Washington’s fiercest rivals are settling things on the baseball field tonight.

The annual Congressional Baseball Game for Charity is underway at Nationals Park, where Republicans are trying to extend their winning streak against Democratic lawmakers.

The game has become one of Congress’ longest-running traditions, raising millions of dollars for charitable causes while temporarily putting politics aside.

At least until the final out.

quote:

The Congressional Baseball Game for Charity currently benefits four primary organizations through the Congressional Sports for Charity foundation: the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington, Washington Nationals Philanthropies (which supports the Nationals Youth Baseball Academy), the United States Capitol Police Memorial Fund, and the Tim Johnson Memorial Scholarship fund.  The U.S. Capitol Police Memorial Fund was specifically added to the beneficiary list following the 2017 shooting at a Republican team practice to honor the officers who protected the players.

Historically, the game has also supported the Washington Literacy Center and the Washington Nationals Dream Foundation, with proceeds aiding adult literacy programs and at-risk youth in the D.C. area.  In 2025, the event shattered previous records by raising over $2.75 million for these local charities, while the 2026 game reportedly raised $3.2 million.
