My theory on Gowdy is he will soon be involved with a special council investigation or DOJ after he leaves office.
The reason he is agreeing with the current investigation is because he will use the same tactics in the future. This way he won't come off as a hypocrite. Or atleast I hope. I had a lot of respect for Gowdy.

This was known since the list of people was made public that met with DOJ and Trey wasn't on the list.

The Trump Admin was actually considering him for a spot as a federal judge on the 4th circuit in Virginia and they were pretty close to offering it to him.
Thank god they never got that far. Gowdy has no business on the federal bench.

Maybe we need politicians to come out and just say, "look people, the IC is blackmailing me because I sent some dick picks to my gf back in the day and we loved to talk dirty. I told them to frick off, so you might soon see my dick on the internet, but at least I'm not cowering down to them. Be kind with your assessments, IPhone 3 took off at least 2 inches, thank you."

I posted in the Q thread a Sundance article where he lays out why he believes that Gowdy is a mole. His actions over the last 12 months have placed him right in the middle of every investigation. And he has said some really dumb shite. And he resigned 3 months ago.
He is either a mole or really overselling his part before the IG report is dropped and Sessions/Gowdy/Huber drop MOABs on Washington DC.

Just a couple of months ago Gowdy was calling for a special counsel on MacCallum’s show. Now, he’s saying everything is cool, so why did he change his mind?
