but me thinks that if the president or someone like the head of the CIA needed Brennan's help or expertise on a certain subject a lack of clearance means virtually nothing.

For decades I’ve been told how the government is inept at the simplest of things.
You guys are going to have to make up your minds.

Ivanka Trump can have clearance.
The former head of the CIA can’t.
Only in the head of a f’ing Trumpkin does this make sense.

Ivanka actually is employed unlike Brennan. Not sure what you are sky screaming about.

Why is anyone complaining about it?
You expected something different from the MSM, aka Democrat War Room?

Help to do what? Only thing they want to help do is overthrow a duly elected president, thanks but no thanks!

Why is anyone complaining about it? Why is it a big deal pulling it from civilians who are no longer a part of a administration? I think it should SOP that once they are no longer in their job and return to civilian life it should be immediately pulled. Am I missing something?

Dan Bongino, who was a secret service agent and who had a security clearance explained yesterday why the swamp is in an uproar over this.
Apparently, after a person leaves a job with a security clearance, companies who want to hire employees who have one, but don't want to pay the huge sums of money involved with vetting a person, hire these guys.
He said, it's not unusual for a person to be vetted for a year and the cost to go over $100,000 to be properly screened to receive a top level security clearance.
If the person already has one, they can skip this process and the expense.
Plus, if a person loses his clearance, and a situation arises where their expertease in a matter could be sought, they no longer have the ability to be used, since their clearance is gone, and the re-vetting process would be too timely.
The swampers know that they will lose those cushy job opportunities if their clearances are removed, and thats why so many of them are so upset.

Even with a top secret clearance, you first must have a "need to know". You aren't privy to everything. That said, if I were an employer looking to hire someone with a security clearance, I wouldn't hire that particular scumbag.

I am missing the reasoning behind the left protesting that particular scumbag having his pulled.

If that leaky vile son of a bitch keeps one there are no standards for passing them out so just give one to everybody

Brennan and some in the FBI, were in a plot to over throw Trump . If all they lose is their security clearance ,they are damm lucky. Should be disgraced

. If her position calls for it and she passes the vetting sure why not. But as soon as she is in a different position or is outside the administration it should be immediately pulled.

. You said the key word, “former” if you are no longer in the job that required it should be pulled immediately. Only a dumb motherfricker would think that someone who once had clearance should always have clearance. The persons I think should always have clearance are former Presidents because contrary to what most want to believe all former Presidents are known to be culsulted by the sitting President.

and therefore not really an issue if its pulled either. Brennan and others are bent because Trump is beginning to exercise his constitutional authority over them and they know they could/should wind up in jail or being executed...
