Meh. There are certain movies that just shouldn't be remade. You can't have E.T. without a young Drew Barrymore, you can't have Sixteen Candles without Molly Ringwald & Anthony Michael Hall, you can't have Red Dawn without Patrick Swayze. The list is much longer but... Well, I thought you couldn't remake Footloose and that was ok.

It could have been a LOT worse.
