The Oracles of LA Fitness decreed that no arse whipping was to take place during a game of pick up basketball. If there was going to be an arse whipping, it would have been on my terms, not his. This is also not the first time he's tried to pick a fight with someone at that gym while playing basketball. Just the first time he's revealed to me his true colors. I also know if we gloved up I'd knock his arse out and get the full satisfaction I'm seeking as opposed to throwing a couple punches before it being broken up and us getting kicked out of the gym and probably thrown in the back of a squad car. You old baws had it so much easier when it comes settling disputes back in the day because win or lose you didn't have to worry about the legal consequences like there are today.

I've been in many fights, and I've never started them. But I will not be bullied. I learned this as a young man.

Why were so many folks in your face and threatening you? I grew up in Northwest LA and spent a bunch of time in some of the roughest bars around and never had any issues...perhaps you're the problem, not the myriad of so-called bullies and assholes you've encountered.
