Scofield might have popularized it, but he didn't create the doctrine.

I've always found that to be an odd application of the genetic fallacy. There are a lot of different views on it and I've read a lot of pros and cons, and I've yet to see anybody attempt to support the idea claiming Scofield as an authority. They uses scriptures to support their arguments, as they should.

I've seen it before. I'm not worried about it. My view on prophesy is that it will happen exactly the way the Bible says and it's unlikely anyone will have it 100% correct. Paul did say some people's faith was overthrown from misinterpreting.

I just think about how wrong the Jews got it in the time of Christ.

Hey! How do post-trib believers think the Earth will be populated with people having mortal bodies during those 1000 years? The non-believers are gone and the believers will have their new bodies.

Exactly!

The men writing about the rapture and selling books for profit has your brain wrapped up.

Good grief how dumb. I don't read books about the Bible, I read the Bible. You make no sense at all. Nothing wrong with believing either way about the Rapture?

You can quibble about English words and split hairs between "Ressurrection" and "Rapture" but the Bible says that the dead raise FIRST then we that are alive are caught together with them in the air.

Are you guys all in the same Snake handling little cult family church in the backwoods. Whose telling you this stuff?
