The military is a blunt object and not trained for civilian law enforcement. Are you going to ask the army to go into places like E. Houston and rousting people in their homes or walking up to citizens on the street and asking for " papers"? Are we going to put all these detained in tent cities in old municipal stadiums while we process....then say to US citizens who get caught up, "Gee, sorry" ?

I have reservations about military on the streets as well.
I like the idea of military securing border. Free up BP and other related agencies handle the ones that got it
